Hostmatrixbase is a small school for Activation Metrics for New Users. We teach you to name the signal, time the window, and stop treating sign-ups as a story.
A week-one funnel, annotated in class — not a vanity dashboard.
From the room
The “setup complete” event we had been celebrating turned out to be a dead end. After module two we moved the activation line to three successful file exports inside five days.
I still think the homework load is heavier than advertised, especially if your warehouse is a mess. That said, the cohort map we built is the only slide leadership still asks for.

Nine weeks. Live critique. You leave with a written activation definition, a window, and a dashboard sketch your analysts can actually build.
Our detailed course: modules, instructor, fees, and a limitation we will not hide.
Read the syllabusActivation is a verb, not a percentage. You will write the event in plain English before anyone touches SQL.
We treat first-week and first-month as different instruments. Mixing them is how teams invent fake progress.
New users who never reach the product surface are not “failed activations”. They are a separate leak.
Office hours sit in Bar Hill. Live cohorts keep UK working hours. The pedagogy is slow on purpose: one metric, defended in writing, before you buy another tool.
